The American Genetic Association

The American Genetic Association

We built this site for the American Genetic Association, publishers of the Journal of Heredity in 2014. They needed both a Content Management System and highly customized system for registration for their annual symposium. With their specific needs, it made more sense to use our custom CMS, and to develop their symposium registration system from scratch.

It's sites like these that make us grateful to have Tom Kerns, our full-time database programmer on board. If your need doesn't fit into an existing system, we can simply build it for you.

Mo's Chowder

Mo's Chowder

Mo's Restaurants has been a Gray's Web Design client since 2011. They wanted a fun and spunky site that tied in with the beach themes in their restaurants. They also wanted to sell their chowder online. We built a site that they can update themselves in its entirety, making it easy for them to change out their menus, their news and stories and the offerings in their shopping cart.

We also built a dedicated mobile website for them in 2013 so mobile users can easily get directions to one of their locations, read the menus, and even order chowder online.

Mandoberlin

Mandoberlin

We love musicians! We've built several music-related websites over the years.

Brian at Mandoberlin didn't need to be able to update all of his content, but he did want a robust lesson hub where he could offer tools for his students and potential students. So we built an easy-to-use site administration for him to upload new content at the click of a mouse.

Siletz Tribal Language Project

Siletz Tribal Language Project

The Confederated Tribes of Siletz has developed a language study program, and is actively teaching classes using tools that they share using their website. We built this site for them in 2010, and have enjoyed watching it grow over time. The learning tools section of their website is managed using a custom database so they can easily add, edit and delete content themselves.

Lochaerie Resort

Lochaerie Resort

This little gem sports a simple availability calendar customized for their needs, a CMS for page text, and a database of photos and information for each of their cabins. It is also fully responsive for mobile.

Grand Central Pizza

Grand Central Pizza

Sometimes a website just needs to be fun! A good location-based website should communicate to the site visitor the experience that awaits them. This family-owned, small-town pizza parlor is among the most famed attractions of Waldport, Oregon, and the website communicates that with graphics and text the second the homepage loads.

Roll over the beer tap to see what's on tap today.

Nana's Irish Pub

Nana's Irish Pub

Nana's Irish Pub in Newport, Oregon uses their site to promote not only their menus and atmosphere, but also their constantly-changing music calendar.

They also wanted a lot of social media integration, so we hung their icons from the site's header so they can't be missed, and included a facebook feed in the footer so sitl visitors can see what sorts of things they are posting on facebook, and can "like" their page right from their website.

In addition, their site is fully mobile ready using responsive website design.

Saffron Salmon

Saffron Salmon

Saffron Salmon has been a client since 2013. They use our custom content management system to update their page content. For our clients who want to keep things simple, we often suggest our custom CMS so that they will have all of the features they need without any of the features they don't need. Our clients love the point-and-shoot nature of our CMS.

In addition, their site is fully mobile ready using responsive website design.

The Drift Inn

The Drift Inn

The Drift Inn in Yachats, Oregon has been a client for many years. This is the third website we've built for them, as they are always wanting to keep up with current trends.

This website was built in WordPress using a WooTheme that we customized to meet their specific needs and brand. The site is fully updatable by them, and is fully mobile ready using responsive website design. This site is a great example of how unique a site can look, even when built using a WordPress theme as its foundation.

Little Creek Cove

Little Creek Cove

We built a new site for Little Creek Cove in 2011, and again in 2015, as they are always eager to keep their site fresh and modern. We built a database of each of their condominiums that is searchable by the website user, and editable by the site owner.

The site integrates their awards and their social media sites, and it is fully responsive for mobile.

Lake Quinault Museum

Lake Quinault Museum

Lake Quinault Museum is another one of our non-profit websites. They use their website to promote the museum, upcoming events and volunteerism. They also accept membership registrations and payments online. The site is also mobile-ready, so tourists in the area can easily check out the website and decide to come spend some time at the museum.

Meditation Momma

Meditation Momma

We've been working with Caren Prentice of Meditation Momma for a full ten years, along for the exciting ride while her businesses have grown exponentially. The most recent expansion is to a full-featured meditate online subscription program. Site visitors pay a monthly subscription fee to have access to a wealth of teachings, resources and guided meditations. She also teaches in-person classes, and site visitors can register and pay online.

This site is fully updatable by Caren, and is fully responsive for mobile.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity

We developed a custom WordPress theme for Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County. They wanted a bright, colorful website that feels inviting to both volunteers and potential homeowners. They wanted to feature the Donate button in order to attract more donations. They also wanted to be able to update the website themselves.

Since 2013 their website has been a key part of their fundraising and information sharing with the local community.

Benjamin Rosenthal

Benjamin Rosenthal

Keeping it simple. This elegant attorney website uses clean lines and solid colors to communicate trustworthiness and professionalism. Our graphic artists are particularly intuitive and creative when it comes to designing the "look and feel" of your website. Their designs reflect your organization's purpose and message.

Brian McEneny's Woodcarving Gallery

Brian McEneny's Woodcarving Gallery

Over the years we've built quite a few websites for artists and artisans. Brian McEneny's Woodcarving Gallery is one of our favorites. The site features a multi-category updatable photo gallery. It is also fully mobile ready using responsive website design. Look at the site on your full computer, in a regular browser. Then grab the side of your browser and slowly drag it to be narrower. You'll see that the site continues to fill the screen at 100%, but at certain break points, the content reorganizes itself to fit better in the space (rather than sidebars, the content is stacked, etc.). Then when you get all the way down to the width of a phone, the site looks like a mobile site.

Play Ukulele by Ear

Play Ukulele by Ear

Play Ukulele by Ear by Jim D'Ville is a custom designed WordPress website used primarily as a blog. Jim updates the website content himself, and contacts us whenever he needs a design change. We're always happy to help!

Seahorse Motel

Seahorse Motel

This full-width website for Seahorse Motel in Lincoln City, Oregon features a database for room rates, as well as a database of photos and information for each room type. The client can make their own updates using an easy-to-use site administration that we built for them. The site is also fully responsive for mobile.

Sweet Homes Rentals

Sweet Homes Rentals

The Sweet Homes Rentals site is a full-featured, custom-developed reservation management system. This company needed a lot of detailed programming, and we were excited for the opportunity to really flex our programming muscles. They are delighted with the outcome.
